Abstract art has no boundries for me.  I am amazed at what takes shape when experimenting with lines, shapes, and color.

I find painting and creating art calming. I am a self-taught visual artist.  My paintings are a combination of a controlled, yet energetic sense of movement.  I paint best in a serene environment filled with relaxing music and pleasant lighting. This makes for a very productive adventure.

 

To enhance my skill-set, I take classes at MIAD and Milwaukee Recreation. Watercolor, acrylics, color-pencils, and markers are my medium. My subjects are faces, flowers, landscapes, and shapes.  My current interest is Pour-Painting.  I plan to create multiple pieces for public display.

In addition to this website, my artwork is displayed regularity at various local venues, such as the Mitchell Park Domes Art in the Green, Celtic Bouquet Art Fair, Our Lady of Lourdes Oktoberfest Artisan Fair, and Alverno College annual Alumnae Art Show. To share my talent with the public, I teach abstract art to youth, teens and adults at Hamilton High School and at private Sip & Paint parties.  I am a former ArtWorks for Milwaukee board member.
